Measurement

This week we have been working on our time's tables and trying to be able to know everyone instantly And we have been doing some measurement word problems.

Script writing

So this week we have been working on movie making and making and starting to design our script we had to work in small groups or buddies I worked in a group of Three and our script is around COVID 19 and about Donal Trump during COVID 19.

Let's make a movie

This past 2 weeks we have been working in buddies or small group on making a three-minute movie, like making a storyboard and getting the concept and preparing the script. So far we have made the storyboard and started working on the script and soon we will be able to turn it into a three-minute movie.

This week for literacy we have been working on opening statements and explanations.

This week we have been working on inferences and we had to look at a picture and have to predict what was happening and then we had to make up our own one.

3D shapes

This week for maths we had to make a slide or a poster about 3D shapes and you had to pick four 3D shapes and put something that shapes are used as an object.

This week for maths we have been working on geometry 3D shapes like working on how many faces, vertices, and edges. And learning what the difference is in 2D shapes and 3D shapes.

So for one of our task, you had to create a vehicle as you can see mine looks a bit crazy because I'm not the best at using google draw but here is what I have made I guess I honest have known I dare what it really is I guess a bus looking thing. but as long as it can be a place that's fine.

This week we had to do geometry and in the slide, we had to do a task it was to get three shaps and find an image of them being used in the world and then have to write something about that shape .

this week for writing we had to do a slide on writing an explanation and what to have in your explanation. And what to do to improve it

This week we have been working on explanations you had to fill out a sheet and write an explanation mine is about things to do hen its quarantine and what you can do to pass the time and when you're bored.

this week we have been working on perseverance and for our two tasks this week we had to make a vehicle and you can choose what it does and looks like it can be for going to school and other things. and for task two you had to watch some clips about tiny homes and decide if you would like to live in them. I would because that way you could travel NZ and go where ever because your home will always be with you.

this week in class we have been learning about Anzac and what happens in what year and what it would like to be in the war.

this week we have been working on word problems. and you have to show your working out.

this week we have been working on descriptive writing and we had to do a slide on it and had to fill out this slide witha photo and you had to put a few describing words in.

This week had to do another thing about perseverance and we had to read two slides about people who have persevered in different things like climbing mounts and flying solo in plans. and we had two tasks one was to pick two people that you would take on a hike up Mount Everest. and you had to do the comparison and no comparisons on two women that fly solo

last week we have been geometry and we had to answer a few questions from a slide then at the end we had to make a map and put directions on how to go and travel to get to other places.

super powers

last week we had to do this reading on this reading on New Zeland rugby players and then our task as if you had three superpowers for the day what would they be and why.

narrative writing

last week we learned about narrative writing and what is the purpose of it and we had to do these story and explain the idea the main problem and how they fixed it then we had to fill out some of those then we made to make up our own little narrative at the end.

At home, we have been doing schoolwork of our computers because of COVID 19 and last week we had to do what would you ask Steven Adams or LeBron James if you could ask them 5 questions and these are my five questions for Steven Adams

Title: the dragons and the twins

The King had known that the gift he

presented to his children on their 5th birthday was dangerous. He was prepared to

take the risk of letting them own a pet dragon,

however. One day, the twins would rule the kingdom together, and they would need

all the help they could get. No-one could deny that a

dragon was a powerful ally!

Before that day, though, the children had much work to do. They had to train their

dragon. So for the first couple of weeks, they taught him

how to eat and how to sleep and walk. Of course, they didn't know how the dragon

lived. So the day before they turned 5 they went to the library

and read and read after that day they knew all that they needed to for raising a dragon.

This dragon was very difficult to raise at times but they knew that they had to do

anything they could to raise this dragon even if it was really. You

probably would expect how twin 5-year-olds raise dragons, but these kids weren't

any type of five-year-olds who were the next leaders of a city so this was just the

start. But they were also born with an amazing gift, they were as

smart as a 23-year-old. But they knew after they raised this dragon it would be the

grade of the city so they did as best as they could.

They were not just teaching it how to walk and hunt, these dragons were being

taught how to breathe fire and talk and fight to protect the city. But these dragons

were one of the nicest, most loyal animals you could but when their

city was in danger there he was to save the day. They call him the big friendly dragon.

By the time kids were 14 years old it was time that the dragon could look after his

sleeve; they had bigger things to deal with now that they were leaders of a city. But

the dragon still lived with them but he didn't get to see them that much because he

would always be battling and saving the city he had never lost a fight.

One day he was spreading the city flying over the city to see if everything was ok

and he saw there was something very large in the field next to the city, it wasn't a

human or a cow or a horse it was much bigger. It was a dragon and the BFD was

so surprised when he noticed her he had never seen another kind of dragon the

more and more he got closer he noticed that she didn't look very well because she

was bleeding. So he flew down as fast as he could, picked her up and took her

back to the city. He took her to the castle and called the twins.
They knew everything about dragons.

They fixed her up and after three days she woke up and the BFD was next to her

through everything she woke up and saw him and said where am I who are you. He

explained what had happened and she thanked him for saving her life. And from

that day one she lived in the castle with him and after a year they fell

in love and she got pregnant.

Meanwhile, the city was still ruined by the twins and her husband and wife and of

course, there guard the BFD

but after a while one of the twins and

her husband had a baby but it wasn't just any baby it was two

babies they name them after the

twin's parent's mike and Rachel and that was the

a new addition to the family. And soon the BFD and he’s wife had

their baby dragon it was a little

boy his name was BFD junior. And after a couple

years, everything was good and the city was good. The BFD was

getting too old to protect the city

so when the little twins got to the age of 5 they

started to raise the little dragon BFD junior and that was the

story of the dragons and the twins.

So we have been working from home lately because of covid-19. we had to watch a video explaining how to do it but then we had to do a slide and answer a couple questions.

This week we have been working from home because of the covid-19. I have been doing a reading slide. So I had to watch a video and it had about 6 or 5 different stories about people's lives and some of them only had one leg and some couldn't see. we had to do a slide on it answering some questions.

For the past week in class, we have been working and learning about Waitangi and Hone Heke and we had to do the slide it's about what is Waitangi how you can celebrate Waitangi.

Coronavirus

Today in class we learned about coronaviruses. We watched a video that tells us a bit out coronaviruses then we had to answer some question about it like how coronavirus is spread and who does it harm the most.

This week in my maths group we have been forcing on measurement and we had to do some word problems of measurement.

Bio poem

In class, we have been working on different types of poems and all of us had to do a bio poem about us and it had to say some things we love and how we feel and we had to use adjectives to describe ourselves. And this is mine.

Compound sentence

This week in class we have been working on compound sentence and for one of our actives we had to write a 20 sentence story this is mine.

In class, we have been working on heaps of different poems my one is a feeling poem. We had to write what that feeling looks like sounds like and feels like.

Cinquain poem

In class we have been working on different types of poems my poem is a cinquain poem.

Smart responsibility

In the class for smart values this week we have been learning about the nine values and we got to pick a smart value and make a blog post about it I choose responsibility.

At sea

What would you take across the sea that doesn't have to be in a freezer or refrigerator and you can only take 10 things?

1.Water because you can't survive without water for three days so you had to bring a lot of water if you are staying for a long period of time.

2. Can food spaghetti bake beans peach fruit salad because cans can last for a long time without getting expired so you can a life of can foods for a long time.

3. Chips because if they are in a bag and not exposed to air they won't go stall and it will stay nice and crunchy for a long time.

4. Crackers there just like chips if they are not exposed they will stay nice and fresh and still crunchy.

5. Powered milk because you just added it to water and it makes milk and milk give you protein which will help you be strong and active throughout the day.

6. Biscuits. because they a good treat to have when you feel like something sweet and yummy and they can stay fresh for a long time if they aren't opened and exposed to air.

7. Nuts because they are healthy for you and won't expire fast.

8. Bars because they are good for you well not all but the nut ones are and they don't expire fast.

9. Pickles olives because they are nice and yummy even if you just eat then as a snack and they also can a long time without expiring.

10. Can tuna it's fish so it gives you protein and its yum and you can eat it with your crackers and it doesn't for a long time only if they have been open.
