Walt in the past week we have been learning a lot about climate change
and how we need to find a solution to fix the problem and how it is affecting us.
Mine is about the Amazon rain forest.

  The Amazon rainforest
The Amazon rainforest is burning 83% more than ever before in the last year.
Brazil is on fire when it comes to dry season because of the heat but it is much worse this year because of
all the fossil fuels people are burning which are making it hotter and starting to heat up the forest and making
fires. But also farms are burning it down to make more farming land. Brazil can usually get on top of it but
the fossil fuels are burning so much it just keeps heating up. And the farms are burning too much and it to
dry for it to stop. But in the last year, there are too many fossil fuels, plastic and carbon dioxide going into
the atmosphere and it is making it too hot for the o-zone and it's creating a hole in the o-zone which makes
the sun come through more and making it  too hot which creates all the fire in the Amazon rainforest.

The Amazon rainforest gives us 20% of our oxygen. So people may think that it doesn’t
affect us and it only affects Brazil, well, they are wrong because once the Amazon rainforest is gone, people
may start to think that if another forest or land caught on fire because of  climate change it
won’t affect us because we did not die even though the Amazon rainforest is burnt down. But if people
keep thinking it would be ok, it won't, if we don't find a solution to stop all these forests fires. So if all the
trees and forests burn down we will not be able to breathe because of all the carbon dioxide that humans
are producing from trucks, cars, fossil fuels, big factories and trees take in carbon dioxide and then they
produce oxygen. So if there are no trees to take in all the carbon dioxide then there is nothing to produce
oxygen which is what humans need to live so if there are no trees that no humans, animals or life.

It is affecting us is because the Amazon rainforest is burning and creating all this thick smoke in towns and
cities and making it hard to breathe because of all the thick smoke. And also on top of all the smoke,
the Amazon rainforest dying that is 20% of theirs and our Oxygen. So they have to go through all the
smoke and it’s even harder too with the forest burning down. It is always traping a lot of native plants and
extinct animals. There are over 2,000 different species of animals that are in danger.

We can stop cutting down trees even though it probably would stop the Amazon rainforest from
catching on fire, it will still help the Carbon dioxide go into the trees and we will have enough trees and
it will not get as hot that fires aren't happening anymore. We also should stop fossil fuels like cars, trucks
and factories because that is another reason why the Amazon rainforest is on fire, so, if we stop using cars
it will definitely help the fires from starting. So you could pay a bit more money to buy an electric car instead of killing our forest and animals and maybe even people one day. Or even whatever change you
can make . bike or walk to work, the shop or school and it will help a lot.

In conclusion, climate change is hard to stop but there are a lot of solutions we can try to stop climate
change and the fires from happening by using electric cars and stop
burning fossil fuels and stop cutting down trees.
