 All plastic bags should be removed from stores


All plastic bags should be removed from all stores because they are killing our sea life and our atmosphere. Here are some reasons why we should not have plastic bags in stores.

The first reason I think we should not have plastic bags in stores is that it is killing a lot of our sea life. There have been over three million sea animals that have died in the last 5 years, like turtles, fish and heaps more sea animals. You might think it doesn't affect humans but it does because if you like fish that means you’re most likely eating plastic when you eat fish.  Because if fish eat plastic then you eat fish that mean you are eating plastic that the fish has eaten before.  So when you buy a plastic bag it’s not just going to affect sea life it will most likely affect, you and if humans eat plastic they can get really bad health because there is a lot of chemicals in plastic that will also affect the sea life animals.


The second reason why we should not buy plastic bags is it practically means you’re killing a sea animal every time you buy a plastic bag. So your paying 10-20c to kill a sea animal. Instead of buying a 10c plastic bag you could pay a little bit extra to get a reusable bag.  So it doesn’t harm any sea life and you only have to remember to bring them to your local supermarket and then get your groceries. You can reuse the bag and when you think about paying a little extra for that one time if you bring that bag every time you go to your local supermarket it means your actually saving money. Because if you buy a reusable bag which is $1 and you bring it every time you go to the supermarket you can use that bag but if you buy a plastic bag every time and then you add up all the money you spent it more that you would spend on a reusable bag.


In other words, stop buying plastic bags it definitely is not good for our sea life and our environment.  Why we should stop using plastic and start using biodegradable bags or reusable bags.

Why we should NOT have homework


Homework is a topic that most students hate, and therefore it is obviously stupid. Imagine going to school for SIX hours then coming back home and doing more work. Here are some reasons why homework is a pointless waste of time!


homework can actually cause health problems such as sleep deprivation, stress levels, and consumption of time. Sleep deprivation is a common sleep disorder that, if you think about it can actually kill you. Example, if your a person like me and you have sports training through the week and you forget to do your homework, so you have to try to get it done that night and you end up going to bed at like 2 am at night, then the next day you're really tired.


In fact, what is the point of even having homework? We have six hours of school and then have to do more homework and kids don't even find it fun so wants the point of having it? Most kids don’t do it so it’s just a waste of time Preparing homework if your not even going to do it. Also, it’s better for the teacher cause they don't have to provide homework and then at the end of the week when homework is due the teacher wouldn’t have to spend their weekend marking homework books.


These are some of the reasons why I think we should be able to go home and have fun and just forget about school for a little bit before we have to go back for six hours! that’s why we should not have the horror of homework.
